Treatment protocol

7 steps
  1. 01

    Facial analysis

Assess in vertical thirds and horizontal fifths. Mark Hinderer lines for cheek apex; mark mandibular landmarks.

  2. 02

    Aspiration safety

Always aspirate before bolus injection. Inject slowly (<0.3 ml/min).

  3. 03

    Antisepsis

Chlorhexidine 2% with sterile drape over treatment field.

  4. 04

    Cheek volumisation

Supraperiosteal boluses of 0.1–0.2 ml at malar apex. Total per side: 0.5–1.0 ml depending on volume loss.

  5. 05

    Jawline / chin

25G cannula entry at pre-jowl sulcus. Deep subcutaneous fanning along mandibular border. Bolus at chin point for projection.

  6. 06

    Moulding & symmetry check

Sit patient upright. Compare sides. Refine with small additions, not subtraction.

  7. 07

    Documentation

    Standardised post-photos. Schedule 2-week review.
