Step-by-step
Treatment protocol
6 steps
- 01
Consultation & mapping
Photograph in standardised light. Mark target lines with patient seated, neutral expression.
- 02
Antisepsis
Cleanse with chlorhexidine 2%. Allow to dry fully.
- 03
Anaesthesia
Topical EMLA 20–30 min if periorbital. Lidocaine in product is sufficient elsewhere.
- 04
Injection
Superficial dermis, 30° angle, retrograde linear threads of 0.02–0.03 ml. Maintain 2–3 mm spacing between threads.
- 05
Moulding
Gentle digital smoothing. Avoid over-massage in periorbital area.
- 06
Review
Top-up at 2–4 weeks if needed. Document with post-treatment photo.
Contraindications
Do not treat if…
- Pregnancy / lactation
- Active skin infection or inflammation at site
- Known HA hypersensitivity
- Autoimmune disease in active phase
- Concurrent anticoagulant therapy (relative)
Aftercare
Patient instructions
- No makeup for 12 hours
- Avoid heat, sauna, intense exercise for 48 hours
- Sleep elevated for 1–2 nights
- No facial massage or dental work for 2 weeks
