Step-by-step
Treatment protocol
6 steps
- 01
Skin analysis
Use VISIA or standardised photography to baseline hydration, texture, and fine lines.
- 02
Cleansing
Double-cleanse, then antisepsis with chlorhexidine 2%.
- 03
Topical anaesthesia
EMLA 20 minutes under occlusion.
- 04
Injection grid
Micro-papules of 0.01–0.02 ml every 1 cm in a regular grid. Total ~1 ml per cheek, 0.5 ml forehead, 0.5 ml chin.
- 05
Soothing mask
Cooling hyaluronic mask for 15 minutes.
- 06
Series
3 sessions at 2-week intervals. Maintenance single session every 4–6 months.
Contraindications
Do not treat if…
- Pregnancy / lactation
- Active dermatosis at injection site
- Bleeding disorders
- Recent (<4 weeks) ablative resurfacing
Aftercare
Patient instructions
- No makeup for 12 hours
- SPF 50 daily — non-negotiable
- Avoid sauna, gym, alcohol for 24 hours
- Gentle cleanser only for 48 hours
